Volodymyr Zelensky’s recommendation to world leaders, which he voiced today in Brussels: “We should not give aggressors an opportunity to even think about a world war, a new wave of aggression, a new great tragedy. I urge you to go there, of course, if the Israeli side is ready.”
Such visits will also be a demonstration of support for the people of Israel, which has been attacked by terrorists.
Ukrainian experience shows that the arrival of leaders of the civilized world in a country at war can really raise the spirit of the civilian population and its defenders. It is enough to recall Boris Johnson’s first visit to Kyiv in 2022, and what effect it had.
