A very revealing YouGov survey on the choice of allies and adversaries in World War III by Americans.

Majority of the US citizens (61%) believe that war is inevitable and will happen in the next five to ten years. 71% of the respondents have no doubt that the United States will be involved in World War III.

It is important here how Americans view the two potential warring camps. In their opinion, the backbone of the adversaries will be: Russia (72%), China (69%), Iran (67%) and North Korea (65%). There are no surprises here, the new axis of evil is in full force.

At the same time the composition of the coalition of US allies is quite unexpected: United Kingdom (67%), Ukraine (58%), Israel (58%), France (57%), Germany (54%). The top ten allies also include Australia, South Korea, Poland, Japan and the Philippines.

Before February 24, 2022, most of those polled would probably not have been able to show on a map where Ukraine was located. It is ally number 2 today.

I think that the issue of Ukraine’s subjectivity on the world stage can be considered closed. It is a pity that such a huge price had to be paid for it.
