There are many parallels between our wars
In Lisbon, I have taken part in a meeting of the executive committee of the European Jewish Congress and the summit of YPO, the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global leadership community of chief executives.
At both forums, I once again thanked international partners for the provided assistance to Ukraine and called for its strengthening. After October 7, not only Ukrainians, but also Israelis are in need of it now.
There are many parallels between our wars. Both Ukraine and Israel are fighting wars for independence, and we have a common enemy — international terrorism, which is backed by Russia.
There are two universities on the photo. The first one shows my alma mater, Kharkiv Pedagogical University, after a russian missile hit it last summer.
In the second photo is the large Smolarz auditorium at Tel Aviv University, which seats more than 1,000 people. All the seats are occupied. Only instead of live students, there are photos of the Israelis who have been killed and kidnapped by the Hamas terrorists.
Two wars, but the handwriting and the perpetrator are the same.
