The first photo shows 22-year-old Shani Louk, who was one of dozens of victims of the Nova rock festival who were among the first to be attacked.

The second photo shows Hamas terrorists mocking her dead body.

At the Picture of the Year International (POYi) competition, this photo became a winner as the Best Team Picture Story of the Year.

The author is Associated Press freelancer Ali Mahmoud from Gaza.

On October 7 last year, he went with the Hamas men to the massacre in Israel and was filming all the terrorists’ atrocities.

I have a deep respect for the AP. Many of my acquaintances and colleagues have cooperated and keep on working with this agency. For example we can mention the authors of the Oscar-winning “20 Days in Mariupol”. They are also AP correspondents.

However, it is one thing to document the crimes of the invaders, risking one’s own life, and it is another thing to be a staff chronicler of terrorists.

With the same success it would be possible to award the photographer of the 637th propaganda unit of the 6th army of the Wehrmacht Johannes Hähle for careful documentation of the shooting of Jews in Babyn Yar in 1941. Giving an award at the same time to the entire 6th army “for the best team picture”.

Signatures under the petition calling for the withdrawal of the POYi award from the AP are being collected here: http://surl.li/sfnfq

Those who wish are welcome to join.
