Son of a Ukrainian defender, 21-year-old commando Nazar Itkin was killed during the “Northern Arrows” ground operation in southern Lebanon

Yesterday, the IDF reported for the first time the deaths of seven soldiers who were killed during the “Northern Arrows” ground operation in southern Lebanon.
One of the dead was Sergeant First Class Nazar Itkin from Kiryat Ata, a soldier in the Egoz unit of the Commando Brigade.
Nazar was 21 years old.
His father, David Itkin, despite his advanced age, joined the Kyiv territorial defense forces from the first days of the russian invasion in 2022. He defended the Kyiv region and later fought in the Kharkiv area.
This is yet another confirmation of how closely connected Ukrainians and Jews are and how interconnected our wars are.
