“Confirming the European identity of the Ukrainian people and the irreversibility of Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic course,” these words were added to the preamble of the Constitution in February 2019.
Today, Ukrainians are closer than ever before to returning to our European home. The war only accelerated integration processes on both sides.
Europe needs Ukraine just as Ukraine needs Europe.
