It’s almost two years of a major war. People are killed every day. At the same time, it is still impossible to get used to it.

An entire family in my native Kharkiv has been burned alive in their home as a result of another (it is hard to count them all) barbaric Russian shelling. They did not have time to run to the basement, where they usually waited out the alarms.

The father suffocated from smoke in the corridor. The middle one, four-year-old Misha, was hiding in the kitchen. The mother, hugging the eldest child, seven-year-old Liosha, and ten-month-old Pasha, has been found in the bathroom.

The temperature of burning was so high that Pasha’s remains have not been immediately identified, as the body turned to ashes.

In a neighboring house, a married couple, 65 and 66 years old, died. There was not a single military facility in the vicinity.

Bright memory to those who perished.
