A Jew named Daniel died fighting for Ukraine at the front.

Apart from the fact that he was of Ukrainian origin, returned to Ukraine immediately after the Russian invasion and joined a special forces unit, no other details about him have been disclosed.

Daniel was a devout Jew, so he received a halachic burial in a military cemetery in Kyiv.

The circumstances of Daniel’s death are unknown. In addition to the flag of Ukraine, however, there is also a flag of the Freedom of Russia Legion on his grave, We can guess by it in which particular unit Daniel served.

This war has blurred all geographical boundaries, leaving only one — between good and evil. Daniel chose the side of light.

The hero will stay in our memories forever.
